In early 2005 Claude Bontorin publicly made a commitment to pursue and consolidate a model of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Integrated into the sustainable business format, PIÚINFORMA immediately relied on the strictness of the international standards adopted and applied to you in the environmental and social field. The partner companies are recognizable and active in the program of the PIÚINFORMA Association.
To date, the company’s work and commitment in the field of corporate responsibility continues non-stop and our team is constantly increasing. Corporate Social Responsibility.
WHY INVEST IN ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.
The value of a company is measured not only on the basis of economic performance but also on intangible elements that strengthen consumer confidence. According to Claude Bontorin corporate social responsibility
In this respect, it is precisely in times of crisis that we must invest in corporate responsibility programmes. They consolidate their reputation, the strength in asserting leadership and in advantages for the competition.
There are several areas of intervention of our corporate responsibility programme (R.S.I.). They range from the application of production techniques aligned with the principles of sustainable agriculture to the improvement of the working conditions of employees.
Support for the development of local communities and the preservation of natural habitats. For each of these areas we have started collaborations with qualified partners.
PARTNERSHIPS
It has always been a fundamental pillar of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. The sustainable business model that we have been carrying out since the beginning of the nineties works and has returns in economic terms. The benefits of our sustainable business model are concrete and measurable.
Positive effects of our responsibility program have also been reflected in improving relations with important institutional partners, enabling us to build partnerships with them based on trust and collaboration.
THE NEXT DEADLINES
For the next few years the commitment is to continue on this path of continuous improvement and therefore we will support the investments necessary to maintain and increase product and process certifications. We also plan to step up efforts to reduce Co2 emissions throughout the Food supply chain. In this way, we will contribute to achieving the UN’s 20/20/30 global millennium target. To achieve this, we have activated a collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. https://www.unisg.it/ateneo/storia-e-missione/
